Rosa Bianca Eggplant is a wonderful Italian heirloom variety! Productive plants produce large, round, lavender fruit that can get up to 5 inches in diameter. This is one of the tastiest and and most prized eggplant varieties by chefs, foodies, and home gardeners. It has no bitterness and is super versatile!

Eggplant Planting Instructions-
Start germinating seeds indoors 6-8 weeks prior to your area’s last frost date. We recommend germinating seeds in rich seed starting soil, in flats (seed trays), ¼ inch deep. Warm soil temperatures are extremely important and should be between 70-90 degrees during the germination process. Consistent moisture is also very important (we recommend seed starting trays with humidity domes), but be careful not to overwater. Under normal conditions seeds will germinate in 5-14 days. Once plants are somewhat developed (with at least two sets of leaves), any chance of frost has passed, and night temperatures are consistently above 60-65 (Even nighttime low temperatures), transplant outdoors. Eggplants love sun and need a minimum or 6-8 hours of direct sunlight a day, so choose a sunny location. If you are planting in containers, use at least a 5-gallon pot. If you plant in the ground space plants 2-3 feet and plant rows 3 feet apart.
