Tromboncino (aka Zucchini Rampicante) is a rare and unique squash variety that can be harvested as a summer or a winter squash! Vigorous, climbing vines produce light green, lightly-striped, long-necked squash that are best harvested at 8-12 inches long as a summer squash summer squash. They will continue to grow to 3 feet long and change to a tan/golden color when harvesting as a winter squash. They have a rich, delicate, and nutty flavor as a summer squash and are great steamed, baked, fried or as sliced raw in a salad. As a winter squash they are perfect for baking! These are one of our personal favorites!
