Sweet Chocolate is a fantastic heirloom bell pepper variety that was developed by Elwyn Meader and introduced by the University of New Hampshire Agricultural Experiment Station in 1965! These peppers are early maturing, beautiful, tasty, and perfect for growers with shorter seasons. They are thick-walled, super sweet, and ripen from green to a beautiful chocolate color. These are one of our family favorites!
