Jelly Melon (aka African Horned Cucumber or Kiwano) is a rare and unique fruit that originated near the Kalahari Desert in Africa! Vigorous vines produce thorny, oblong fruit that are filled with seeds and golden/green jelly that has a delicious citrus flavor that is often compared to a pomegranate. These grow well in most U.S. locations, but definitely prefer heat.
